Catheters, Shunts, and Drains - Oh My! Managing Emergent Complications

Increasing outpatient approaches to treatable diseases, along with palliative care, have increased the number of patients who present to the ED with drains, shunts, tubes, and a variety of catheters. These can all get clogged, stuck, malfunction, or fall out. The speaker will discuss a variety of problems associated with these tubes and some creative solutions for both adults and pediatric patients.
