Fisher & Paykel Healthcare: Non-Invasive Respiratory Support. This Skills Zone interaction will provide participants with the experience of Non-Invasive Respiratory Support from their patient’s perspective. Nasal High Flow and mask-based non-invasive ventilation will be available.

In your Emergency Department, Optiflow™ delivers humidified gas, with or without supplemental oxygen, at flows up to 60 LPM for the treatment of your respiratory compromise patients. Clinical evidence proves that early implementation of Nasal High Flow Therapy, at flows up to 60L/min, can reduce escalation and risk of intubation. Reducing therapy escalation to mechanical ventilation (intubation/NIV) can provide fewer ICU admissions, improved bed flow and reduced ED boarders.
